Software Engineer (Full Stack)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance a scalable digital platform. The role involves both backend and frontend development, designing robust APIs and integration solutions, and ensuring high standards of code quality, scalability, performance, and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the digital platform for the Index, covering both backend and frontend components.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high‑performance software systems.
• Build robust RESTful APIs to support internal and external system integrations.
• Create and maintain integration solutions connecting the platform with Ejar (إيجار) and relevant government systems.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, maintainability, security, and high performance across the platform.
• Conduct unit testing and integration testing to guarantee system reliability and functionality.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions.
• Participate in architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of the platform.
• Document source code, technical solutions, APIs, integrations, and system components for maintainability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience developing scalable digital platforms and systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Python, Java, and Node.js and their associated frameworks.
• Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and system integration solutions.
• Experience developing both backend and frontend components of digital platforms.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, scalability, performance optimization, and best practices.
• Experience implementing unit and integration testing and writing clean, maintainable code.
• Familiarity with government platforms and APIs, particularly Ejar (إيجار), is a plus.
