Software Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

The Software Quality Assurance Engineer will join Arkan Tech’s Amman office to ensure the quality and reliability of ERP and e‑commerce software solutions. The role involves designing test plans, executing manual tests, documenting defects and collaborating with developers to deliver stable, high‑performance products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain test plans and test cases for functional, regression and integration testing.
• Execute manual test cycles, record results and log defects in tracking tools.
• Verify defect fixes and perform retesting to confirm issue resolution.
• Participate in requirements reviews and contribute to quality standards and best practices.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including developers and product owners, to improve testing processes and product quality.
• Provide clear documentation of test results and defect reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, e‑commerce platforms or process‑automation solutions is an advantage.

Required skills
