Solution Engineer, Microsoft Ecosystem Solutions

About the role

RidgePoint is looking for a Solution Engineer to lead technical pre‑sales activities for its Microsoft‑focused portfolio across the Middle East and Africa. You will act as the trusted technical advisor for new customers and partners, demonstrating how Recast Software solutions complement existing Microsoft investments.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives on every qualified opportunity, driving the technical side of MEDDIC (decision criteria, champion, success metrics).
• Conduct deep technical discovery of customers' Microsoft estates (device management, application delivery, security).
• Deliver tailored demos and proofs of concept for Recast Right Click Tools and Application Workspace, defining success criteria and documenting outcomes.
• Create solution designs, architecture diagrams, compliance responses, and RFP answers for regulated and public‑sector accounts.
• Enable reseller and system‑integrator partners through training, hands‑on support, and knowledge transfer.
• Provide clear hand‑off to implementation teams and feed field feedback to vendor headquarters.

Required profile

• 5+ years of presales or solution engineering experience within the Microsoft ecosystem, preferably at a distributor, VAR, SI or ISV.
• Hands‑on experience running ConfigMgr, Intune, Entra ID and Active Directory in production environments.
• Strong background in enterprise‑scale application packaging and delivery (MSI, MSIX, deployment pipelines).
• Ability to build and run POCs on Windows Server and SQL Server, and to communicate technical outcomes to both CIOs and sysadmins.
• Fluent English; Arabic and French are advantageous.
