Sr. Specialist, Data Scientist

About the role

Hikma Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Specialist in Data Science to strengthen its finance analytics capabilities. You will work within a collaborative environment, applying advanced machine learning techniques to improve financial forecasting, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy machine learning models for financial forecasting, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics.
• Integrate large datasets from SAP ECC, ERP systems, and external sources into Azure Databricks for analysis.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and business teams to translate challenges into data‑driven solutions.
• Design, build, and optimise data pipelines for model training, validation, and deployment.
• Apply LLM, NLP, time‑series analysis, and deep learning techniques to extract insights from structured and unstructured data.
• Create interactive dashboards and visualisations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance while handling sensitive financial data.
• Automate data collection and processing workflows using tools such as Selenium.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 4–7 years of experience in data science and machine learning.
• Experience working within a finance department is a plus.

Required skills

• Python (including Pandas, NumPy, Scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Databricks and Azure Databricks for large‑scale data processing and model deployment.
• SQL and relational database management.
• Big‑data processing frameworks such as PySpark.
• ETL/ELT processes.
• Automation tools like Selenium.
• Knowledge of LLM, NLP, time‑series analysis and deep learning.
