Strategy Consultant – AI Training & Evaluation (Freelance, Remote)

About the role

We are looking for experienced strategy consultants to help us create realistic consulting project environments that will be used to train and evaluate advanced AI systems. The position is fully remote, freelance, and focuses on translating real‑world consulting engagements into structured tasks for AI agents.

Key responsibilities

• Design detailed project scenarios that reflect genuine industry contexts, financial data, constraints, and incomplete information.
• Break down consulting engagements into discrete, AI‑compatible tasks such as market sizing, commercial due diligence, cost optimisation, growth strategy, operational diagnosis, and benchmarking.
• Develop grading frameworks, evaluation rubrics and golden‑answer solutions to calibrate LLM‑based assessment of AI outputs.
• Collaborate independently to ensure the learning environment mirrors high‑level business reasoning and client delivery standards.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on consulting experience at a top‑tier firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY‑Parthenon, Kearney, Strategy&).
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems, build financial models or market analyses, and produce client‑ready deliverables under tight deadlines.
• Experience presenting and defending recommendations in uncertain situations.
• Willingness to work with lightweight, non‑technical tools; no deep technical background required.
