Strategy Execution Lead

About the role

The Strategy Execution Lead will translate Jo Academy’s corporate strategy into coordinated delivery, measurable results and accountable execution across the organization. Reporting to senior leadership, the role will design the execution framework, oversee the annual strategy deployment cycle and lead a small team of analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage the corporate strategy execution framework, converting approved priorities into objectives, initiatives, KPIs, roadmaps, owners, milestones and decision rights.
• Lead the annual strategy deployment and business‑planning cycle, cascading priorities, validating feasibility, dependencies, resource requirements and delivery ownership.
• Govern the enterprise portfolio of strategic initiatives, ensuring approved charters, business cases, delivery plans, budgets, milestones, risks, dependencies and expected benefits.
• Run the strategy execution cadence, including monthly performance reviews, quarterly strategy reviews, initiative steering meetings, decision logs and action follow‑up.
• Monitor delivery against plans and targets, identify gaps, bottlenecks, risks and cross‑functional dependencies, facilitate recovery plans and escalate unresolved decisions.
• Develop and govern the corporate KPI and OKR framework, defining baselines, targets, owners, data sources, reporting frequency and alignment with strategic outcomes.
• Analyze performance and initiative data to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Lead the Strategy Execution Analyst and Performance Analyst, ensuring integrated view of strategic delivery and embedding execution discipline across the organization.

Required profile

• Proven experience in translating corporate strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
• Strong governance and portfolio management skills for strategic initiatives.
• Ability to lead and develop a small team of analysts.
• Excellent stakeholder management and escalation capabilities with senior leadership.
