Supply Chain Coordinator – Syria Country Office

About the role

The Supply Chain Coordinator will manage and coordinate supply chain operations for the Syria Response Office, ensuring efficient procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory, and office administration. The role supports programmatic needs while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Head of Supply Chain in implementing global and regional supply chain priorities.
• Apply SCI Procurement Manual, Country Logistics Manual, partner procurement guidelines, and SRO procurement policy.
• Ensure compliance with sanctions, export controls, and child safeguarding measures.
• Drive cost‑saving initiatives and manage vendor relationships.
• Oversee logistics coordination, including distribution planning and fleet management.
• Supervise and develop direct reports (Supply Chain Officers).
• Prepare capacity‑building plans for implementing partners.
• Maintain preparedness to rapidly deploy resources during crises.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply chain, procurement, and logistics management.
• Familiarity with humanitarian supply chain standards and compliance requirements.
• Ability to lead a small team and support partner capacity building.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills to track cost savings and performance.
