Supply Chain Officer

About the role

The Supply Chain Officer ensures our group restaurant locations have the right ingredients, packaging and supplies at the right time and cost. The role owns the purchasing cycle from supplier contact to delivery and invoice matching, keeping inventory, SKU and cost data accurate for reliable recipe costing and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Source and contact suppliers, request quotes, compare pricing, quality and lead times; negotiate prices, minimum order quantities and payment terms.
• Issue purchase orders according to approved par levels, budgets and authorization limits; maintain an up‑to‑date supplier list.
• Track orders from issuance to delivery, coordinate with location managers on inventory levels and special orders, and handle returns, credits and quality complaints.
• Coordinate periodic inventory counts, analyze variances, flag waste or over‑ordering, and recommend par level adjustments.
• Maintain the ingredient SKU master, update unit costs as supplier prices change, and set up or retire SKUs following naming conventions.
• Perform three‑way matching (PO, receiving record, supplier invoice) before invoices go to Accounts Payable and investigate discrepancies.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain, preferably in food & beverage or hospitality.
• Strong Excel skills and a sharp eye for numbers.
• Excellent English communication.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Comfortable working on US time zones.
