Systems & Network Administration Internship

About the role

We are seeking a fresh graduate to join Zain's Engineering Department for a one‑year internship under the Zain Youth Program. The role focuses on supporting and maintaining our critical telecommunications infrastructure across multiple technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing 5G, 4G, 3G, 2G, Fiber Access (FTTX), IP and Transport Networks.
• Provide systems administration and support for engineering, IT, call‑center and help‑desk teams.
• Monitor user activities, perform health and performance checks, and resolve system or network issues.
• Implement system updates, configurations, and business continuity/disaster recovery strategies.
• Apply security measures to protect network integrity and data confidentiality.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Offer technical support to internal users and collaborate with other engineering teams for seamless network integration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Electrical/Telecommunication Engineering or a related field.
• Very good command of English.
• Customer‑centric attitude, innovative mindset and commitment to excellence.
