Team Leader – Youth Leadership, Participation & Engagement (Volunteer)

About the role

The International Youth Federation (IYF) is seeking a remote, part‑time volunteer to lead its new Youth Leadership, Participation & Engagement pillar. This is a strategic, operational, and technical leadership position that will shape an emerging programme area from its inception.

Key responsibilities

• Define priorities and develop a strategic roadmap for Pillar 1 of the BPS Programme Framework.
• Design resources, tools, and partnership models to support regional and country‑level implementation.
• Establish foundational processes, governance structures, and ways of working for the pillar.
• Collaborate with the BPS Global Manager, Regional Directors, and Country Representatives to align activities with the IYF Strategy 2026‑2030.
• Monitor progress, capture learning, and contribute to continuous improvement of youth‑centred interventions.

Required profile

• Motivated, dynamic individual with a passion for youth empowerment and non‑profit work.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote, flexible environment.
• Experience in programme design, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑cultural collaboration.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to guide a global volunteer team.
