Technical Business Analyst – Agile Delivery Support (Consultant)

About the role

The incumbent will act as the primary liaison between healthcare stakeholders, the EMR vendor, and internal technical teams to ensure successful delivery of UNRWA's Electronic Medical Records system. This consulting position supports Agile delivery, product backlog management, quality assurance, and vendor performance monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse, document and validate business, clinical and functional requirements from healthcare professionals and technical teams.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain requirements traceability from identification through development, testing, acceptance and implementation.
• Conduct Fit‑Gap assessments, recommend workflow improvements and standardisation.
• Support the Product Lead/Product Owner in creating and prioritising the EMR product backlog.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum events such as backlog refinement, sprint planning and daily coordination meetings.
• Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and help resolve functional issues.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, progress reports and vendor performance metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in health‑care or EMR projects.
• Strong understanding of clinical and administrative workflows.
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Amman for the duration of the 12‑month contract.
