Technical Consultant – Oracle Technology Consulting

About the role

The Technical Consultant will join EY’s Oracle Technology Consulting practice across the MENA region, supporting large‑scale ERP transformation programmes. You will work closely with functional teams to design, develop and implement Oracle solutions that meet client business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical ERP support, troubleshoot user issues and deliver fixes.
• Develop custom ERP forms, modules, reports and extensions using PL/SQL, ADF, OAF and BI Publisher.
• Configure and implement standard and custom Oracle Fusion Cloud modules.
• Design, build and test integrations on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including FBDI, APIs, messaging and file‑based solutions.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to analyse requirements, prepare technical designs and specifications.
• Generate analytical reports using OTBI and BI Publisher.
• Drive improvements in system performance, scalability and reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• 4–10 years of experience in Oracle ERP development, with at least two full‑life‑cycle Oracle Fusion implementations.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Oracle Fusion Applications (Composer tools, OTBI).
• PL/SQL, ADF, OAF, BI Publisher.
• Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) – design and development of integrations.
• RICE/RICEW components, data‑migration tools (FBDI, HDL, ADFDI).
• XML, JSON, XSLT, REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with APEX, DevOps or automation tools is a plus.
