Technical Senior Lead

About the role

Make Work Flow is launching its new Amman engineering hub and needs a Technical Senior Lead to own the end‑to‑end architecture of its SaaS platform for manufacturing digitalisation. You will be the top technical authority, translating business goals into a robust, real‑time tracking solution that spans frontend, backend, data, and hardware/IoT layers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the full‑stack architecture (React/TypeScript frontend, Python/FastAPI backend, data pipelines, and hardware/IoT integrations).
• Lead and scale the engineering team from four to 8‑12 members, shaping the hiring plan and team structure.
• Represent engineering in strategic decisions with the CEO, COO and business units, acting as the primary technical voice.
• Stay hands‑on by writing, reviewing code and solving complex technical challenges.
• Design the platform that connects shop‑floor hardware (RFID scanners, IoT devices, terminals) to the cloud‑based SaaS ecosystem.
• Drive integrations with ERP, PLM and other supply‑chain systems.
• Establish engineering practices from scratch, including coding standards, code review, planning and delivery cadence.
• Own system performance, security, reliability, monitoring and incident response.
• Recruit, interview and onboard engineers and the BA/Scrum Master.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a senior technical leadership role.
• Proven track record designing and delivering full‑stack solutions for SaaS products.
• Experience leading and scaling engineering teams in a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong ability to translate business objectives into technical architecture and to communicate constraints to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Hands‑on expertise in solving performance, security and reliability challenges.
