Technical Team Leader – Software Development

About the role

The Technical Team Leader (TTL) drives a software development team to deliver high‑quality solutions that meet product and project objectives. Acting as the bridge between developers and management, the TTL ensures technical excellence, process compliance, and timely releases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development team through full project lifecycles, from estimation to delivery.
• Participate in architectural discussions, select technologies, and maintain design documentation.
• Review and approve code, enforce feature/branch freezes, and manage testing cycles.
• Track KPIs such as code quality, test coverage, bug ratios, and hot‑fix rework rates.
• Coordinate with BAs, PMs, UI/UX, QA, and service teams to align on requirements and release readiness.
• Mentor developers, conduct performance appraisals, and foster a collaborative environment.
• Ensure compliance with internal staging, release policies, and security standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of software development experience, including 1–2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to estimate tasks accurately and achieve 85 %+ on‑time delivery.

Required skills

• Microsoft .NET Framework (C# or VB.NET)
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, jQuery, XML, Web Services, Web APIs
• Object‑Oriented Programming, SDLC, architectural patterns
• Advanced database expertise with MS SQL Server or Oracle, including ER diagrams and stored procedures
