Technical Trainer (Cybersecurity, Networking, AI)

About the role

Al-Laith Academy for Education and Training, a registered educational centre in Jordan offering courses in cybersecurity, networking, artificial intelligence, foreign languages and vocational training, is looking for a Technical Trainer. This is a remote volunteer position focused on delivering high-quality training in technical subjects such as cybersecurity, networking and related fields.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and training materials, and create supporting resources such as exercises, presentations and assessments.
• Conduct live online sessions and evaluate learner progress, giving constructive feedback.
• Adapt teaching methods to different levels of technical proficiency.
• Collaborate with academy staff to refine curricula, keep content aligned with learning objectives and update it according to current technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong background in technical training, including experience as a Technical Trainer and in technical training programmes.
• Practical knowledge in one or more areas such as cybersecurity, networking, artificial intelligence or related technical fields.
• Relevant academic background or industry certifications in IT, cybersecurity, networking or a related discipline are preferred.

Required skills

• Training and development skills, able to design structured, outcome-focused learning experiences.
• Effective communication, explaining complex technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with online teaching tools and learning management systems, and comfort delivering training remotely.
• Ability to create engaging instructional materials, assessments and hands-on exercises.
• Organizational and time-management skills, with reliability in keeping scheduled sessions.
