Telesales Executive

About the role

The Telesales Executive will be responsible for maximising revenue from existing DHL customers while also generating new business through proactive telephone outreach. Working closely with the sales and operations teams, you will build multi‑level relationships, understand client needs and ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a regular call cycle with existing DHL customers to preserve and grow sales revenue.
• Probe and analyse customer requirements to identify opportunities where DHL services add value.
• Negotiate and persuade existing customers to increase their use of DHL services.
• Source and act on new business leads, converting prospects into customers.
• Monitor credit issues, coordinate with Finance and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
• Update call details and internal forms using DHL tools for accurate record‑keeping.
• Take ownership of service failures, coordinating resolution to address customer complaints swiftly.
• Analyse sales figures and reports, spot trends and take corrective actions to maximise revenue.
