Tenders and Contracts Manager

About the role

The Tenders and Contracts Manager will lead the end‑to‑end management of contracts, tenders and reporting activities for Arab Bank across its global operations. The role ensures compliance with internal policies, FIDIC standards and ESG reporting while supporting strategic decision‑making at a corporate level.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain global dashboards for all RCM activities and track KPIs, reports and performance metrics.
• Oversee the full contract lifecycle, develop RFPs, RFIs and RFQs, and manage tender processes from invitation to award.
• Ensure compliance with contract standards, P&Ps, ESG reporting requirements and FIDIC conditions.
• Support global and local FM teams, interpret contract terms, and provide guidance on scope of work and reporting.
• Conduct financial and contractual evaluations, audit progress payment requests and manage performance bonds, guarantees and insurance.
• Lead contract close‑out activities and maintain SOPs, policies and standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in contracts management, reporting and banking‑sector projects.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proactive, continuous‑improvement mindset with solid problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office proficiency.
• Power BI reporting and data‑analysis capabilities.
• PMP certification (Project Management Professional).
• FIDIC‑certified Contract Manager qualification.
