Trade Marketing Senior Officer

About the role

The Trade Marketing Senior Officer supports the execution of trade marketing strategies and promotional activities across all sales channels. The role ensures effective brand visibility, promotion execution, and alignment between marketing and sales to drive product performance and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Implement trade marketing and promotional plans across modern and traditional trade channels, supporting in‑store visibility initiatives through POS materials, displays, and activation programs.
• Assist in developing and tailoring trade programs for key accounts, wholesalers, and retailers, providing sales teams with promotional materials, planograms, and execution guidelines.
• Ensure product visibility and merchandising standards are maintained in line with brand guidelines, conducting regular market visits to assess execution quality.
• Track performance of trade marketing activities, analyze sell‑out data, ROI, and promotion effectiveness, and prepare monthly performance and market trend reports.
• Collaborate with Brand, Sales, and Supply Chain teams, support budget management, and maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in Trade Marketing, preferably within the FMCG or distribution sector.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, channel dynamics, and promotional execution.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience with market data analysis tools is an advantage.
