Travel Consultant

About the role

The Travel Consultant at Sun Tours provides personalized travel advice and manages complete travel itineraries for clients. You will work closely with customers to understand their preferences, budgets and expectations, and deliver high‑quality booking services across flights, hotels, tours and transportation.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Sun Tours with professional, high‑standard customer service in all interactions.
• Assess client travel needs and recommend suitable destinations, itineraries and services.
• Use Amadeus and Galileo GDS to create, modify and cancel flight reservations, ticketing and related transactions.
• Book and manage hotel, transportation, tour and other travel‑related reservations.
• Provide accurate information on visas, documentation and destination details.
• Maintain precise records of bookings, payments and travel documents.
• Communicate promptly with clients via email, phone, WhatsApp and other approved channels.
• Handle client complaints, escalating when necessary, and foster repeat business.
• Collaborate with airlines, hotels, DMCs and other suppliers to ensure smooth travel execution.
• Stay updated on industry developments, destinations and product offerings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Tourism, Travel, Hospitality, English Literature or a related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in travel consultancy, reservations or ticketing (preferred).
• Willingness to work flexible shifts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Amadeus GDS.
• Proficiency with Galileo GDS.
