Volunteer – Data Collector

About the role

Plan International Jordan is seeking a motivated volunteer to support remote data collection on economic development, focusing on entrepreneurship and business outcomes. After a one‑day training, you will conduct phone surveys with past and current grantees to capture the impact of grants.

Key responsibilities

• Attend an in‑person training covering survey instruments, quality, and ethical standards.
• Conduct phone‑based data collection with Plan grantees using the structured questionnaire.
• Apply the trained quality and ethical guidelines throughout the data‑gathering process.
• Provide regular verbal debriefs to the line manager and share field feedback.
• Incorporate child‑protection, gender‑equality, and inclusion policies into all interactions.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills for phone interviews with grantees.
• Ability to follow training instructions and adhere to ethical standards.
• Commitment to safeguarding children, young people, and promoting gender equality.
• Interest in economic development and impact assessment.
