Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of goods. The role coordinates staff activities, maintains inventory accuracy using FIFO, and guarantees compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and assign tasks to warehouse personnel for receiving, storage, order preparation, loading, and unloading.
• Ensure customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and loaded according to approved quantities and schedules.
• Monitor operational efficiency, productivity, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Report operational issues and suggest process improvements to the Purchasing Officer.
• Participate in periodic and annual physical inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
• Coordinate receipt of materials with the Purchasing Officer, verify quantities, quality, and specifications.
• Inspect condition of received goods and report discrepancies or damages.
• Apply FIFO inventory management and isolate expired or non‑conforming materials.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and regulations from health authorities such as the Ministry of Health and FDA.

Required profile

• Experience supervising warehouse staff and coordinating daily warehouse activities.
• Knowledge of FIFO inventory management and stock rotation principles.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and regulatory requirements for warehouse operations.
• Ability to monitor performance, provide guidance, and promote continuous improvement.
