Wash Valet

About the role

A full-time, non-management Wash Valet position at a W Hotel in Amman, Jordan. The role is responsible for greeting guests on arrival, helping unload their items safely, delivering laundry and clothing to guest rooms and keeping laundry and dry cleaning clean and tidy.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival and assist with unloading their items safely.
• Deliver laundry and clothing to guest rooms and monitor the cleanliness and appearance of laundry and dry cleaning.
• Complete all valet tickets properly so that items are handled correctly.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, requests from the Front Desk and At Your Service requests.
• Coordinate repairs with the appropriate people and arrange pickup and delivery once completed.
• Follow company policies and procedures, keep a clean and professional appearance, protect company assets and keep proprietary information confidential.
• Work within quality assurance standards and perform other reasonable duties asked by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Physical demands include lifting or carrying objects up to 10 pounds and standing, sitting or walking for long periods.
