Account Support Officer – B2O Accounts (MENA)

About the role

The Account Support Officer will manage B2O (Business‑to‑Organisation) accounts across the MENA region, ensuring partner organisations receive a seamless experience from onboarding through delivery and ongoing support. Working closely with Sales, Delivery and Operations teams, you will act as the primary liaison for schools, universities, businesses and government bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding, training and service delivery for B2O accounts in the MENA region.
• Handle enquiries, resolve service issues and support delivery changes.
• Produce accurate reports, maintain client data and monitor programme outcomes.
• Identify growth, retention and improvement opportunities using data‑driven insights.
• Develop and nurture relationships with partner organisations, promoting British Council products and services.
• Administer invoices, payments, contracts and supplier documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in client‑account management and relationship building.
• Fluency in a local language at C2 level (speaking and writing).
• English proficiency at B2 level (speaking and writing).
• University degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Desirable: sales/marketing qualifications, B2O sales experience in education or government, background in English language teaching or assessment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Salesforce or a similar CRM system.

What we offer

• 7‑month fixed‑term contract (maternity cover).
