Accountant – Finance Team (Amman)

About the role
Astrolabe Coffee is looking for an efficient and detail‑oriented Accountant to join its finance team in Amman. You will be responsible for recording daily financial transactions, performing reconciliations, and supporting month‑end closures.
Key responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and verify invoices, receipts, and other documents.
- Perform periodic reconciliations for bank accounts, suppliers, and branch cash safes.
- Track, verify, and reconcile physical inventory counts at branches or warehouses against the system.
- Assist the finance team in preparing monthly financial closures and reports.
- Organize, maintain, and securely archive financial files and documentation.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 1 to 5 years of practical accounting experience.
- Preferably experience in Food & Beverage, Restaurants, or Hospitality.
- Good command of both Arabic and English.
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Required skills
- Hands‑on experience with SAP.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
