Accountant – FMCG Finance Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our finance team in Jordan, supporting the distribution of specialty wellness products across the MENA region. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, managing payables and receivables, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with Jordanian accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in FMCG or a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of Jordanian accounting standards and VAT regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with high integrity and the ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP accounting software, preferably Odoo.
