Accounting Intern

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accounting Intern to join Kitopi’s finance team in Jordan. The role offers hands‑on exposure to financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and month‑end activities while rotating through various finance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior accountants in preparing financial statements, reports and budgets.
• Process invoices, manage vendor relationships and support customer billing.
• Participate in month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies and respond to queries from cross‑functional teams.
• Support the implementation and improvement of internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Rotate across finance departments to broaden understanding of business operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Eagerness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior internship or entry‑level accounting experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software applications.
