Accounting Specialist

About the role

Eon Dental is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join its finance team in Jordan. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will support daily financial operations, ensure accurate record‑keeping, and help drive efficient accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately.
• Reconcile bank statements and general‑ledger accounts on a regular basis.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash‑flow reports.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Enter and maintain accurate financial transaction data.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure policy compliance.
• Provide documentation and respond to auditor inquiries during audits.
• Follow company quality standards, safety procedures, and local regulations.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the line manager to meet organizational objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in core accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and tax compliance.
• Familiarity with IFRS standards is preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with accounting systems or ERP platforms.
• Understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
