About the role
The Administrative Assistant (G5) will provide essential administrative support to the UNDP Jordan Country Office as it implements its 2023‑2027 Country Programme. The role contributes to the efficient functioning of the office, enabling staff to focus on delivering development outcomes across portfolios such as inclusive growth, climate action, and governance.
Key responsibilities
- Manage correspondence, filing, and documentation for the Country Office.
- Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and logistics for senior staff.
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and briefing notes.
- Maintain databases and ensure accurate record‑keeping of project and portfolio information.
- Assist in procurement processes and monitor contract administration.
Required profile
- Relevant experience in administrative or secretarial functions within an international or development environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
