AI Engineer – Computer Vision & Generative AI

About the role

Apps Wave Information Technology is seeking an AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI solutions that combine computer vision and generative AI. The role focuses on moving models from research to production, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost‑effectiveness for real‑world applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, train, and optimize computer‑vision models for detection, classification, tracking, and behavior analysis.
• Prepare and manage image/video datasets, including preprocessing, labeling, cleaning, and augmentation.
• Integrate AI models into backend services and production pipelines, optimizing inference for latency, throughput, and cost.
• Develop generative AI and LLM‑powered features, including prompting, structured outputs, tool/function calling, and evaluation.
• Build and maintain Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, embeddings, vector search, and context assembly.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in machine learning, computer vision, applied AI, or generative AI.
• Strong Python programming and software‑engineering skills.
• Hands‑on experience with deep‑learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience integrating ML models into production systems and services.
