AI Frontend Engineer - Senior Associate

About the role

As a Senior AI Frontend Engineer within PwC's AI Centre of Excellence, you will create modern, production‑grade user interfaces that bring AI solutions to life for clients across the Middle East. You will work closely with AI architects, designers, and backend teams to deliver seamless, secure, and high‑performance web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop single‑page applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript with state‑management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query.
• Implement UI components that follow the corporate design system, including theming, token management, and right‑to‑left (RTL) support for Arabic.
• Integrate front‑end features with AI back‑ends via REST, GraphQL, and WebSocket, handling streaming tokens and long‑running tasks.
• Build authentication flows, role‑based access controls, and secure patterns (OAuth/OIDC, token refresh, CSRF protection).
• Write unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests using Jest, Testing Library, Playwright or Cypress.
• Optimize performance through code‑splitting, memoization, lazy loading and monitor UX metrics (Web Vitals).
• Collaborate with CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable delivery.

Required profile

• Several years of experience building production‑grade web applications with React and Next.js.
• Strong understanding of TypeScript and modern state‑management solutions.
• Experience delivering RTL‑compatible interfaces for Arabic users.
• Proven ability to integrate front‑ends with AI services using REST, GraphQL, and WebSocket.
• Solid knowledge of web security standards (OAuth/OIDC, CSRF, token handling).
• Track record of writing automated tests and improving performance.
• Comfort working in cross‑functional, fast‑paced environments.
