Analyzer Technician

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking an Analyzer Technician to support the maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of a wide range of process and emission analyzers at refinery and petrochemical sites. The role involves ensuring reliable operation of gas, liquid and physical‑property analyzers while adhering to strict HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on online analyzers including CEMS, gas chromatographs, oxygen, moisture and liquid process analyzers.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot analyzers to guarantee accurate measurements.
• Maintain sample conditioning and recovery systems for process and emission monitoring.
• Document maintenance activities and generate reports using basic computer tools.
• Interpret P&IDs and loop diagrams to support installation and repair work.
• Travel to customer sites as required to provide service support.

Required profile

• Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical or Electronics Engineering with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or B.Tech with at least 5 years in analyzer maintenance.
• Proven experience in refinery or petrochemical environments.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and HSE practices.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and customer‑focused with good communication skills.

• Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS)
• Moisture, combustion and flue‑gas analyzers
• Liquid analyzers (pH, conductivity, DO, chlorine, turbidity, water‑cut, oil‑in‑water)
• Physical‑property analyzers (RVP, salf in crude, flash point, density, viscosity)
• Sample conditioning and recovery systems
• Calibration, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
• Reading P&IDs and loop diagrams
• Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation
