Architectural Finishing & Handover Projects Manager

About the role

The Architectural Finishing & Handover Projects Manager will design, build and lead the end‑to‑end finishing and client handover function for multiple residential projects. This senior role ensures that every unit is delivered on time, to quality standards and in line with client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish the Architectural Finishing & Handover department, defining team structure, SOPs, KPIs and reporting mechanisms.
• Lead architects, site engineers, supervisors, contractors and subcontractors across several residential units.
• Coordinate with the Sales department to validate realistic delivery dates before commitments are made.
• Develop master finishing schedules, unit‑level timelines, look‑ahead plans and recovery actions.
• Review architectural drawings, BOQs, shop drawings, specifications, client modifications and material submittals before execution.
• Manage all finishing packages – architectural, MEP, joinery, kitchens, aluminium, marble, tiles, gypsum, painting, lighting, sanitary ware, doors, etc.
• Control planned vs. actual progress, implement recovery plans, and oversee procurement and material delivery.
• Implement robust QA/QC procedures, inspection checklists, mock‑up approvals and snagging standards.
• Facilitate weekly progress meetings and enforce an escalation matrix for delays or quality issues.

Required profile

• Highly experienced professional with a proven track record in managing architectural finishing and handover for residential projects.
• Strong leadership skills to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external contractors.
• Excellent analytical ability to assess scope, client modifications, material lead times and contractor capacity.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality, risk mitigation and realistic scheduling.
