Art Teacher

About the role

Amman Academy, an IB World School in Jordan, is seeking a passionate Art Teacher to join its vibrant faculty. You will inspire students aged 3‑19 to explore visual creativity while supporting the International Baccalaureate framework.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and deliver engaging art lessons across all grade levels.
• Integrate IB principles and bilingual instruction into the art curriculum.
• Assess student work, provide constructive feedback and track progress.
• Maintain a safe, well‑equipped studio environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school events.
• Organise exhibitions, showcases and community art activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Art or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of teaching experience in a similar setting.
• Fluency in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
• Familiarity with the IB system is advantageous.

Required skills

• Solid IT skills for using digital art tools and classroom technology.
