Assistant Cook

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Cook to join our kitchen team in Amman. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will help ensure that every dish is prepared and cooked to the highest standards while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in food preparation and cooking according to established recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
• Organise ingredients, stock stations and support inventory management.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.

Required profile

• Basic kitchen skills, including food preparation, cooking techniques and knife handling.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Physical stamina for long periods of standing.
• Prior experience in a culinary or food‑service setting is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new recipes and kitchen protocols.
