Associate Presales Engineer

About the role

The Associate Presales Engineer supports the Sales team by coordinating technical aspects of pre‑sales activities, preparing materials, and managing relationships to ensure effective pre‑sales operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Sales team by coordinating technical aspects of pre‑sales activities.
• Respond to customer requests, understand requirements, and tailor proposals.
• Support the Presales Engineer in creating demos, proposal documentation, and presentations.
• Complete required pre‑sales documentation quickly and accurately.
• Provide support to company partners and customers, including after‑hours queries during assigned rotations.
• Escalate issues when necessary.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related technical discipline.
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in Presales, Technical Support, IT Infrastructure, or System Administration.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to understand customer business and technical requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confidence in delivering technical presentations.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and pursue certifications and vendor training.

Required skills

• Fundamental certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ‑900), AWS Cloud Practitioner, Cisco CCNA, IBM, VMware VCTA, Fortinet NSE (preferred).
• Knowledge of enterprise IT concepts: networking, virtualization, cloud computing, cybersecurity, storage, and data‑center technologies.
• Familiarity with leading technology vendors such as IBM, Citrix, VMware, Microsoft, Red Hat, Dell Technologies, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco, Fortinet.
