Backend Developer (Python)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Backend Developer with strong Python expertise to join a leading financial services company. You will work on new features, products and micro‑service solutions in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to develop features and new products.
• Define technical specifications, choose appropriate technologies and ensure coding standards.
• Implement unit and integration tests and guarantee software quality, security and extensibility.
• Participate in code reviews, identify anti‑patterns and propose refactoring.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a technical mindset.
• Understanding of software quality assurance principles and SDLC processes.

Required skills

• Python (primary language).
• PHP (advantage).
• SQL and NoSQL databases.
• RabbitMQ, Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Microservices development and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Helm.
• Version control (Git) and CI tools (Jenkins).
• Web security standards and best practices.
