Bakery & Pastry Assistant Chef

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Bakery & Pastry Assistant Chef to support our kitchen team in Amman. The role offers the chance to work alongside experienced chefs, contributing to the daily production of breads, pastries, desserts and more.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing breads, pastries, cakes, creams, fillings and doughs according to recipes.
• Measure and portion ingredients accurately to meet production requirements.
• Support the Head Chef in daily bakery and pastry operations, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools and equipment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and health standards at all times.
• Help with inventory management, storage and proper handling of ingredients.
• Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team and follow the Chef’s instructions.

Required profile

• Previous experience in bakery or pastry environments is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of baking and pastry preparation.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced kitchen setting.
• Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and quality.
