About the role
Tradeasia International is looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to drive market expansion and revenue growth across the Levant region and Turkey. You will focus on creating new business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and selling industrial chemicals, polymers, and raw materials.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and penetrate new market opportunities in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Turkey.
- Acquire new clients, build strategic partnerships, and expand the customer base.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share and achieve growth targets.
- Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, quotations, price negotiation, contract execution, and after‑sales support.
- Maintain long‑term relationships with manufacturers, distributors, traders, and end‑users.
- Coordinate with headquarters and logistics to ensure smooth procurement, quality assurance, shipment, and delivery.
- Conduct market research, monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and regulatory changes.
- Represent Tradeasia at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration, International Trade or a related field.
- 3‑4 years of business development, sales or trading experience in the chemical or raw‑materials sector.
- Proven track record of managing business in the Levant region and/or Turkey.
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship‑building abilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently across the Levant and Turkey.
- Native or professional proficiency in Arabic, strong command of English; Turkish proficiency highly preferred.
Required skills
- Understanding of Incoterms and international trade practices.
- Knowledge of shipping procedures.
- Familiarity with Letters of Credit (L/C).
- Arabic language proficiency.
- English language proficiency.
- Turkish language proficiency (preferred).
