Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead sales of banking and payment solutions in Jordan. The role covers the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing and ongoing maintenance, while building strong relationships with senior banking officials.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales targets set by ProgressSoft.
• Design and execute a sales plan for the Jordan market aligned with the 2022‑2026 strategy.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, coordinating with product owners, project managers, and technical leads.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer engagement and accurate requirement capture.
• Work with the bidding team to produce detailed proposals and business requirement documents.
• Negotiate contracts and recurring maintenance agreements.
• Utilize ProgressSoft’s CRM to maintain up‑to‑date client profiles.
• Prepare comparison analyses between ProgressSoft and competitor offerings.
• Identify new market opportunities and develop distribution channels with global, regional, and local partners.

Required profile

• Proven sales track record in Jordan’s banking and financial sector.
• Ability to interact with all organizational levels, especially decision‑makers.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent command of English.
• Deep understanding of banking and payments systems.
• Organized, ambitious, independent, and results‑driven.
