Business Planning & Reporting Officer

About the role

The Business Planning & Reporting Officer will turn raw data into actionable insights for senior management. You will design, build and maintain reports and dashboards that support strategic decisions across call‑center and retail operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean and analyse data from internal and external sources to identify trends.
• Create accurate, concise reports and visualisations for stakeholders using Power BI and other tools.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and industry standards, flagging deviations and risks.
• Present findings to senior management, using data‑visualisation techniques to enhance impact.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather information, align reporting requirements and support decision‑making.
• Continuously improve reporting processes for efficiency, accuracy and timeliness.
• Build, automate and maintain operational dashboards at the business‑unit level.
• Assess and revise sales‑commission schemes, run simulations and help set sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, marketing, business administration, industrial engineering or data analytics.
• Limited experience in reporting and data analytics (junior level).
• Advanced Excel, Power BI and data‑visualisation certification.
• Desirable knowledge of SQL, databases, data‑warehousing, Python and Alteryx.

• Advanced Excel (including PowerPivot).
• Power BI or similar visualisation tools.
• MS Access.
• SQL and database concepts.
• Data‑warehousing fundamentals.
• Python (basic/analytical).
• Alteryx (desirable).
