Cafe & Restaurant Manager

About the role

The Cafe & Restaurant Manager will lead daily operations of a hotel‑based cafe and restaurant in Amman, ensuring an outstanding guest experience and smooth service delivery. This full‑time, on‑site position requires hands‑on leadership, quality control, and collaboration with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Schedule, train, coach, and evaluate staff performance.
• Monitor food and beverage quality, manage inventory, and place orders.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Handle guest feedback, resolve service issues, and drive initiatives to boost satisfaction and revenue.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support events, promotions, and special functions.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and interpret basic operational reports.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to consistent guest experiences.
• People‑management experience, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and stakeholders.
• Solid knowledge of food & beverage operations, menu understanding, and quality control.
• Previous experience in cafe, restaurant, or hospitality management, preferably in a high‑traffic or event‑driven environment.
• Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and analyze operational data.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
