Card Scheme Compliance Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Card Scheme Compliance Analyst to join our payments‑focused team. Reporting to the Card Scheme Product Owner, you will monitor regulatory and card‑scheme changes, assess their impact on our software, and support the delivery of compliance initiatives across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse changes introduced by Card Schemes and regulatory bodies and evaluate their impact on RS2 software solutions.
• Deliver walkthrough sessions on mandatory items to Client Focus Teams.
• Liaise with Card Schemes for clarifications and support client queries.
• Define project milestones for mandatory releases and ensure team readiness.
• Support Quality Assurance activities for compliance releases, maintaining overall integrity and quality.
• Maintain visibility of QA status, identify common issues across installations, and design use cases for mandatory changes.
• Attend Card Scheme conferences and forums as required.
• Compile impact assessment documents and update the product catalogue for mandated changes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Card Scheme compliance within a fintech environment.
• Hands‑on experience with major Card Scheme associations such as Visa and Mastercard.
• Strong understanding of payments industry standards, processes and ecosystem.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision, meet tight deadlines and handle pressure.
• Knowledge of PSD2 is considered an asset.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• In‑depth knowledge of Visa and Mastercard compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with PSD2 regulatory framework.
