About the role
The Regional Child Protection Case Management and Information Management Specialist will support UNICEF country offices, governments and partners in implementing and adapting the Child Protection Information Management System (CPIMS+) across East and South Africa. The consultancy is remote with occasional travel.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct technical assistance to UNICEF COs and inter‑agency partners on CPIMS+ implementation, including tool adaptation for humanitarian and development contexts.
- Develop and update case‑management tools, SOPs, workflows and referral pathways, ensuring alignment with data‑protection standards.
- Conduct data‑protection impact assessments and design information‑sharing protocols.
- Support the social‑service workforce in digitising case management processes using CPIMS+ and Primero.
- Collaborate with senior advisors, T4D and DID focal points to ensure regional coherence.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Child Protection, Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience in child protection case management and information systems within humanitarian or development settings.
- Familiarity with data‑protection regulations and inter‑agency coordination.
