Client Support Administrator (US Air Force)

About the role

ITA International is seeking a Client Support Administrator to provide critical IT support for the 9th Air Force Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron across multiple bases in the Middle East. The role ensures secure, reliable computer and network services in a highly regulated military environment.

Key responsibilities

• Backup, restore, and recover hard drives and system crashes.
• Implement physical and computer security measures, including password and privilege management.
• Provide software application assistance for standard office automation tools.
• Maintain system compliance with Air Force Network Operations Center directives and install required security patches.
• Perform file integrity checks, disk diagnostics, formatting, and space management.
• Administer video‑teleconference suites and isolate/repair network and computer malfunctions.
• Configure hardware and operate both unclassified and classified computer systems.
• Serve as primary IT equipment custodian and ensure compliance with AFI 23‑101.
• Monitor TEMPEST emissions security and train personnel on secure voice communications equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT support within secure or defense‑related environments.
• Familiarity with DoD directives (DoDD 8570.01M, DoDD 8100.02) and Air Force compliance standards.
• Ability to train and mentor unit personnel on secure communications equipment.
