Cloud Database Administrator – Mid‑Senior Level

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Database Administrator to design, implement, migrate, secure and optimise databases in cloud environments. The role ensures high availability, performance and security for platforms that support cloud‑native and modernised applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration and optimisation of managed cloud databases such as Cloud SQL, Amazon RDS and Azure SQL.
• Manage traditional RDBMS in the cloud, primarily Microsoft SQL Server, and also Oracle, MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Architect and implement database clustering, multi‑region fail‑over and high‑availability/disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with Cloud Architects, DevOps engineers and application teams to align database solutions with cloud best practices and scalability requirements.
• Monitor, tune and secure database environments to meet performance and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Mid‑senior level professional with proven experience in cloud database administration.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) and managed database services.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional technical teams.
