Commis I – Airport Lounge & Transit Hotel Kitchen Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Commis I to support our newly launched Airport Hospitality operation, covering both the Airport Lounge (buffet‑style service) and the Transit Hotel. You will work closely with the Chef de Partie and the kitchen team to ensure high‑quality food preparation, presentation, and hygiene in a fast‑paced airport environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in food planning, preparation, and production according to company recipes and standards.
• Support buffet preparation, replenishment, and presentation for the Airport Lounge.
• Participate in food production for the Transit Hotel.
• Maintain food quality, portion control, and visual standards.
• Help monitor and control food and beverage stock levels.
• Follow HACCP, food safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Keep kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Support inventory management, stock rotation, and proper storage.
• Collaborate with the Chef de Partie and kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and quality management initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant kitchen experience, preferably in hotels, catering, airport lounges, or similar hospitality settings.
• Culinary training or vocational certification is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
