Community & Events Executive

About the role

The Walk in Amman is seeking a creative and highly organized Community & Events Executive to bring the destination to life through memorable experiences, strategic partnerships, and engaging programming. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and promoting a year‑round calendar of events that encourage repeat visits.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute a year‑round calendar of events and activations.
• Develop partnerships with brands, schools, universities, sports clubs, and community organisations.
• Coordinate seasonal campaigns, family activities, and public events.
• Manage event logistics from planning through execution.
• Collaborate with tenants to create joint promotions and experiences.
• Source sponsors and activation partners.
• Work with marketing to promote upcoming events.
• Manage external vendors, entertainers, and suppliers.
• Track event attendance, budgets, and performance.
• Identify new ideas that enhance the guest experience.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in events, marketing, partnerships, hospitality, or retail activations.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong organisational and project‑management abilities.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable working evenings and weekends when events require.
• Loves creating memorable experiences and building relationships naturally.
• Proactive, idea‑driven, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
