Consultant / Senior Consultant – AI & Data Engineering

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join its AI & Data team in Amman. You will work on cutting‑edge analytics projects, delivering data‑driven insights and advanced machine‑learning solutions for a diverse client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy statistical models, machine‑learning algorithms, and data‑mining techniques on large datasets.
• Clean, preprocess, and manipulate raw data to ensure integrity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into data‑driven solutions.
• Build predictive models for use cases such as customer segmentation, churn prediction, and demand forecasting.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and visualisation to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Stay current with emerging data‑science technologies and continuously improve analytical methodologies.

Required profile

• Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, Python, R, or Scala.
• Strong statistical analysis and mathematical modelling background.
• Hands‑on experience with machine‑learning frameworks (TensorFlow, scikit‑learn, PyTorch).
• Advanced SQL skills for data querying and database management.
• Knowledge of NLP, NLG and generative AI techniques.
• Familiarity with big‑data processing tools (Hadoop, Spark, Apache Flink).
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Competence in deployment tools such as cron jobs, Docker and Kubernetes.
