Coordination Consultant for Public Digital Learning Initiative (12‑month)

About the role

The consultant will support the Gateways to Public Digital Learning Initiative, a joint effort by UNICEF and UNESCO, by providing coordination, technical, research and knowledge‑management assistance over a 12‑month period.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the Gateways dashboard and Knowledge Hub activities.
• Facilitate country engagement, technical assistance, study visits and peer‑learning events.
• Support the development and implementation of the UNESCO‑UNICEF Charter for Public Digital Learning Platforms.
• Generate evidence, prepare technical notes, reports and communications.
• Manage partnership coordination and contribute to UNICEF’s Digital Education Strategy 2025‑2030.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Education, International Development, Public Policy, Digital Transformation, Learning Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in education, digital learning, international development, public‑sector digital transformation, knowledge management or project coordination.
• Proven experience coordinating multi‑stakeholder initiatives involving governments, UN agencies or development partners.
• Experience supporting digital education platforms, EdTech solutions or digital public goods.
• Experience preparing technical notes, reports and research outputs.
