Cost Control Engineer

About the role

The Cost Control Engineer will support International Building Systems Factory (IBSF) by managing project costs, analysing financial impacts, and ensuring projects stay within budget while meeting quality and timeline standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day project control and contract operations in line with company policies.
• Prepare accurate monthly cost reports and conduct financial performance analysis.
• Handle variation orders, update project budgets, and communicate financial impacts to stakeholders.
• Oversee cost control, revenue recognition, and SAP‑based invoicing for precise financial tracking.
• Drive process improvements focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and productivity while maintaining safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably civil or mechanical.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cost control engineering.
• Strong analytical thinking with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of steel structures and solid financial acumen.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP for cost tracking and invoicing.
• Advanced use of MS Office, especially Excel, for reporting and analysis.
